Designed and Built in Yorkshire
Robert Bratley has been making cabinetry for over 25 years, but the work didn’t begin in a workshop.
After finishing university, Rob realised that what suited him best wasn’t sitting behind a desk, but working with materials, shaping something practical and lasting with his hands. Drawn to the quieter pace of craftsmanship, he returned to the tools and built his career from there.
Today, the same approach still shapes every project. Working from his Harrogate workshop, Rob and the team designs and crafts bespoke cabinetry for homes across Yorkshire, with a focus on thoughtful design, careful construction and materials that will stand the test of time.
The process is straightforward and collaborative, with close attention paid to how each space will be used day to day. Every decision, from layout through to the smallest detail, is made with the aim of creating cabinetry that feels natural within the home and continues to work well over time.
At its core, the work is about doing things properly. Taking pride in the details, working with care, and creating pieces that are made to last.

How the space is used day to day, what needs to be stored, how rooms connect, and where small details can make a meaningful difference. From there, layouts are carefully planned and refined so the cabinetry feels balanced, practical and easy to live with.
The focus is not just on how something looks, but how it works over time. Materials, proportions and detailing are all considered with care, creating cabinetry that sits naturally within the home and continues to feel right for years to come.

With over 20 years of experience in cabinetry and joinery, Rob and the team work closely with homeowners, interior designers and developers to create spaces that feel both practical and considered. Each project is shaped through a hands-on approach, from early design conversations through to the final installation.
Working from the Harrogate workshop, the focus is on getting the details right. Proportion, construction and finish are all carefully thought through, resulting in cabinetry that feels solid, well balanced and naturally part of the home.
Working collaboratively
We work closely with interior designers, architects and property developers, as well as homeowners managing their own renovations.
Projects often involve collaborating with interior designers to develop cohesive cabinetry schemes across several rooms, working with architects to ensure layouts and detailing are considered early in the design process, or partnering with developers to deliver kitchens and fitted cabinetry for new build and conversion projects.
By working alongside the wider team from the outset, the cabinetry is able to integrate seamlessly with the architecture and interior design of the home.
